We are dedicated to building a community that inspires and connects families through live, participatory music-making. Our award-winning family classes offer a hands-on, creative and developmentally-appropriate musical environment for children and their families in Brooklyn’s neighborhoods of Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and Bedford-Stuyvesant. A New Song Collection Each Semester
Every semester we learn a new collection of songs, so you can expand your family’s music repertoire and learn over 200 songs over three years! When you revisit the same song collection after three years, your child will engage with the music in a completely different way, deepening their musical learning and expressive skills.
Your children will love the energy of the MARACAS song collection this spring! Songs include the American children’s song, “Ha Ha This a-Way” made famous by legendary blues guitarist Huddle Ledbetter (aka “Lead Belly”), the enchantingly rhythmic “Al citrón,” based on a traditional Latin American children’s game, and “’Bout My Friends,” sure to have everyone dancing to its funky blues. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes song recordings and materials for you to use at home, including a beautifully illustrated songbook.
NEW THIS SPRING: Enrolled families will also get a bilingual English-Spanish music recordings and lyrics booklet. Here’s why: playing with Spanish sounds will strengthen your child’s listening skills, phonetic awareness, flexible thinking, and give you a chance to play with the new sound patterns alongside your child.
Tuition
Music Together tuition includes:
- Weekly classes with our beloved teachers. 11 weeks in the spring/fall/winter semesters, and 6 weeks in the summer.
- Unlimited makeups are available if space allows. All makeups must be scheduled before the end of semester.
- Class materials: You will receive a beautifully illustrated songbook and music download code in your first class. Enrolled families will also get a bilingual English-Spanish music recordings and lyrics booklet.

If you join the semester late, your tuition will be automatically prorated at checkout.

Join us for a trial class and experience the magic of hands-on music-making for yourself! Simply check out our trial class scheduler to choose a time that works best for you and your little one.
Trial class price: $45. Please note, trial classes are non-refundable.
You can schedule up to three trial classes per semester. However, we encourage you to consider enrolling for a full semester to truly see the benefits—musical skills flourish over time, and repetition is key to deepening learning.
