Led by a warm, engaging Tam Tam teacher, in our 35-minute interactive session your child gets to sing, move, and play instruments with their friends and family! Inspired by our beloved Music Together® class format, but adapted for a party setting, this experience is lively, flexible, and designed for fun. We skip formal tonal and rhythm exercises and lean into playful exploration, with an expanded set of props and instruments to spark curiosity and connection.
This isn’t a performance: it’s a full-participation celebration.
We encourage all grownups to join in, helping create a shared musical experience that feels inclusive, relaxed, and genuinely joyful.

Our Music Together® birthday parties are designed for children ages 0–6. They work especially well for mixed-age groups, so siblings and friends of different ages can all participate meaningfully.
The guided music experience lasts 35 minutes. This is the sweet spot for young children—long enough to feel immersive, but short enough to keep everyone engaged and happy.
We typically recommend 6–12 children, but we can be flexible depending on your space. Since this is a participatory experience, having grownups join helps the group feel connected and balanced.
Yes! This is a key part of what makes the experience special. Music Together® is based on shared music-making, so we invite all caregivers to sing, move, and play alongside their children. No musical experience is needed!
Your Tam Tam teacher will bring:
- Age-appropriate percussion instruments that allow for a variety of music-making experiences (think shakers, drums, etc.)
- Movement props (ribbons, stretchy band, etc.)
- A thoughtfully planned, interactive music session
- A musical “Happy Birthday” finale
Any open space where everyone can sit in a circle works well: a living room, backyard, or private room at a restaurant or event space. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you think it through.
This isn’t a show: it’s a fully interactive music experience. Instead of watching, children and adults actively make music together, which creates a more engaging and meaningful celebration.
We offer music birthday parties in Brooklyn’s neighborhoods of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Bed-Stuy, Carroll Gardens, Clinton Hill, and nearby areas. Reach out to confirm availability for your location.
We recommend booking 3–6 weeks in advance. Last-minute bookings may be possible depending on teacher availability.
Once we confirm availability for your preferred date, time, and location, full payment is required to reserve your booking. Payment should be sent via Zelle to our email address, contact@tamtambrooklyn.com
After we receive your payment, Tam Tam will email you a receipt to confirm your reservation.
We understand that plans change and we always try to be as flexible as possible. There is a $25 non-refundable cancellation fee.
