At Tam Tam and Music Together, we value music development for its own sake, because being able to sing in tune and keep a beat is the birthright of every child! 1. Music In School
Classroom teachers participate in class, led by the Music Together Specialist, and follow through during the week, adapting activities to their curriculum needs and interests.
Recordings, songbooks, and teaching materials are provided for classroom use.
2. Bringing Music Home
Children “bring the music home” for adult-child musical play, sharing the songs and activities learned in school.
Each family receives their own copy of our professional music recordings and songbooks.
Families also receive weekly flyers with more ideas for music fun at home.
Parents appreciate knowing what their children are learning—and joining in on the fun!
3. Building Community Through Music
Children learn from the model of music participation in class and at home.
Children, parents, teachers, and staff make music together at school-wide events.
