At Tam Tam, music isn’t just something you listen to: it’s something you do. That’s why we are thrilled to announce that we are participating in the 12th Annual Teach Music Week, happening from March 16th to 22nd!
Organized by the nonprofit Keep Music Alive, this week is a global invitation to jump into the world of music-making. To celebrate, we’re offering free demo music classes at all Tam Tam locations. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to experience our research-based curriculum and joyful musical community firsthand.
Why Music Matters for Your Child’s Development
Our participation in Teach Music Week is rooted in our core values. We don’t just teach songs; we foster a lifelong love of learning through:
- Hands-On Participation: In our classes, there are no “spectators.” From a baby’s first rhythm to a preschooler’s dance solo, everyone is part of the band.
- Research-Based Curriculum: Our classes are designed to support cognitive and social-emotional growth during the critical early years (0-5).
- Community & Connection: Tam Tam is a convenient local hub where families can unplug and bond with neighbors.
- Fun & Generosity: We love our community! These free sessions are our way of showing appreciation and sharing the joy of music.
Designed for Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
Are you looking for engaging activities for toddlers or developmental classes for babies? Our mixed-age format is specifically tailored to the way young children learn.
- Babies enjoy gentle sensory exploration.
- Toddlers get to wiggle and mimic older peers.
- Preschoolers build confidence through leadership and instrument play.
